There's a question, what company has the better cups for throwing a latte, Starbucks or Timmy's?
I would say Starbucks, but the lid has to be tight. |

I never said the team doesn't want him. It was a quote he said when someone was asking about waiving his NTC and IF the team asked him what he would do. - Retinalz

.@coreypronman on Dobson: I think he's a very good player, but where the Canucks pick...I'm not sure he has the offensive skillset to justify that. He has size, moves the puck well, can play both ends, but in regards to the game-breaking ability..I just don't think he's there

If Hughes is gone the only remaining potential game-breaking Dman is Boqvist |

.@coreypronman on Quinn Hughes: He's a small defenseman, so there's a risk in projecting him. But in terms of his potential, it's thru the roof. He has the potential to be an impact player in the NHL |

.@coreypronman on Evan Bouchard: Really intelligent, moves the puck well, has a big shot. I worry he's not a high-end skater, that his skills aren't as high-end. But he has the size, he has the brain. But he never hit the next level as having that impact skill to take over a game |

128 days until opening night, there's going to be a lot of the same poop repeated over and over again until then - Nucker101
I missed the Sbisa debate yesterday, hopefully i'll catch it next time.
should have protected Sbisa and offered Gaunce plus a prospect.
I also look forward to reading how Benning is to blame for Gillis running the team into the ground.
People losing their sh!t about who we pick/don't pick in the draft.
People freaking out when Bozak and JVR are signed, etc.
My new fave beef is with the LVGK pregame show.
That's Not Hockey!! gawd dammit!

Vegas wanted speed and skill, don’t think they’d have much interest in Gaunce who’s an average skater(decent for his weight though) and sucks offensively.
The prospect would have had to been at least semi-decent or a pick instead.
At what point does Gillis stop becoming an excuse? Edler is literally the only Gillis contract left on the team now. And outside of Boeser, the best players on this team are still non-Benning players. Horvat, Edler and Tanev.
Did Gillis tell the team to do the stupid age gap strategy that failed? Did he tell Benning to sign Eriksson and cater to the Sedins?
By that logic, every GM who’s ever taken over a team left behind by a bad/mediocre GM has never had success.
It’s okay to admit that your favourite team (frank)ed up and still be a fan, let’s just hope they’ve learned from it and be glad that the drafting seems to have improved. |

I don't understand how the Sbisa thing is even a debate. Even a year on it was the correct decision to expose him. Contract was bad and he is still a terrible Dman. His underlying metrics place him at almost exactly the same level as Gudbranson |

Meh.
Drafting is obviously a gamble.
Did fairly well last draft i'd say.
Actually has done well throughout his drafting imo.
OJ is the only one too be determined. I suspect he'll turn out just fine. |
