Habs and Rick Nash...totally a Bergevin move!!!!

- LordHumungous

It really isn't because it would actually be a good move, sign Nash for 1 year and flip him at the deadline

Hanifin for Kapanen is not happening. Better sweeten the deal by adding a lot more.

Skinner for Kadri is more like it.

That;s wishful thinking but only in a perfect world haha. I have no issue sending Faulk for Kap and a 2nd....keep Hanifin though

If he was sheltered as much as Hanifin you would think he was a lot better.
- Feds91Stammer

A lot of people compare Faulk to Gardiner. If they're getting rid of Faulk then I don't really get the move. I thought they wanted to move some youngsters up. Though I guess Hanifin would create that spot. But then you have a defensively inept d man, better have someone who can cover.

Faulk's stock has fallen.

Watching Vegas play, Kapanen's stock is rising.

Kessel not moving. Letang, more likely...Letang to MTL for Pacs, and 3 second rounders this year? PIT then signs Jack Johnson, and say De Haan to shore up D.

A one year deal for Nash worth 3-4 million....and you could trade him at deadline (NYR got an awesome haul)..and you say no? I get he sucks in playoffs, but don't think that's a problem in MTL next year

He's a great two way player who give 100% every game, and 20+ goals is probably a certainty

Gonna have to pay him more than 3 million to get him to agree on a 1 year and to come to Montreal but yes, that would be the plan

Good point. I guess I wouldn't say no, but also what's the point? I think he's looking to sign with a contender. Plus we're supposed to be in a youth movement. If he's so great why don't you guys take him back? I'm sure he'd sign.
