It’s all about the genes. Old
Man Nylander was a wimpy perimeter player. Both his kids are the same. Look at the genes with Tkachuk, Stastny, Parise, Steen, etc.... |

So Nylander has a couple things going against him perception-wise among the fans.
1.) He's been passed by Mittelstadt who was drafted a year later
2.) Nylander was drafted by Murray, who is not very popular atm
3.) He's a high pick and is referred to as a perimeter player, much like Mr. Freakarenko
4.) He's never made a splash at a camp or d camp. Last year's camp, all the fans were all about yelling "puuuuuuu" to Cliff Pu, ya know fun name. But Nylander may have been hurt for that camp, or he just wasn't great.
If he makes the team, the fans will jump on his side, but I'd say Sabre fan morale regarding him is low |

Doesn't help that Tkachuk Keller, Sergachev, McAvoy, and Jost have made him look bush league. |

I know someone there who's involved with the performance testing for the prospects. I told her to look out for a douchebag in a day-glo polo shirt and white shorts. - Wetbandit1

1). Stick with the Buffalo girl. Family ties and babysitting eventually.
2). Sam is soft, but nylander is softer. Unless sam sits out or is injured, no way Alex tops him as a forward. |

At 8, idk if Nylander can be considered a "bust" if he doesn't turn out - although mitts at 8 doesn't make it look good.
I'm in the trade him now camp. One brother is always better than the other (Sedins excluded), and I think we got the lesser brother. If a team wants him, do it now imo, while there is still some mystique |

1) Good advice
2) Those silky mitts are ready to be unleashed.
I need to see a Mittlestadt Eichel Nylander line. |

He’s our boy and all but based on production at this point I would have to put Laine ahead of Eichel. Switch 4 and 5. Sorry but it is what it is. Also, I might put Dahlin ahead of Matthews as well even though he hasn’t even played a game in the nhl yet. His ceiling just seems ridiculous. - TheHank
You sound like me when I genuinely state that I would rather have Matthews on my Leafs than McDavid. Sounds crazy - but that's how I feel.
Dahlin looks amazing. I'm pissed that Sabres got him because they are in our division and I hate everything Sabres thanks to two people: Ryan (frank)ING Miller! And Hockey's own Garth.
Not looking forward to a decade vs Dahlin but I guess we're lucky enough to have Matthews.
Cheers |

Don't give up on the Nylander, he's no Brett Gretzky(who actually scored a poopload of points for a bust but that was the 80's) |

If Erod is taking the 3rd line C role I’d like to see this.
Mittelstadt-Eichel-Bailey
?-ROR-Reinhart
Smith-Erod-Okposo
Baptiste-?-Pominville
Maybe Nylander slots in on that second line. |

other side of the coin.
I know people who went on adventure and never came back.
I know people who went on adventure and enjoyed the comfort of Buffalo and came back.
I know people who never tried to adventure and wish they did.

He's 1/2 of the best brother combo to ever play the game in terms of points.
Despite my pessimism, I still think Nylander can have a nice career, but if we were able to package him with pick 32, plus next year's second, yada yada yada, impact LW for this year.
Maybe I'm wrong and he is the impact LW. It would not be the first time I was wrong |

1- McDavid
2-Laine
3-Matthews
4-Eichel
5-Dahlin
15-Reinhart - Pegullaville
What was Mitts? He actually had Mitts number #1 on his mid term rankings for the 2017 draft. |

I dated the Russian for 2 years, there were so many adventures I ended up back in Buffalo for a 6 month “clarity” stint. Now she wants to take it international, pay for everything and it sounds amazing.

I’m currently working for former Wall st trader who offered me partnership in the development company I’m a PM for. Long term, I’d be set for life.
So go back to pretending to be a rockstar or be one of thems grown ups?

It all depends on what you want. If you're aiming for family, send me her number.
LOL...seriously though. If you got a taste for the adventure and it's not for you, I think you have your answer.

As long as you're not a SERIOUS alcoholic, you'll be fine on one kidney.
And if you are a serious alcoholic, you just need to date a different Russian to get one back.
Source = im of Russian descent.
