I watched more than a few games this year and there is not much of a drop off between Miller McIssac Samuelsson Bouchard and Dobson.

Hughes and Boqvist I seen a lot of skill and high end potential. The rest I just seen potential

Don’t draft based on what you think the team needs ...take the best player ....if you end up with a bunch of the same then that’s fine you can trade some for pieces you need later ....don’t pass on better players cuz you could use some grit or sandpaper

They paid 14 mil for those 100 pts and now have cap space to fill the holes. It doesn't have to be a home run . Even if you get 3 player making 4 mil that can put up 30-40 pts. It also doesn't have to be done all at once this year.

Vanek ( a fill in ) had 56 pts 24 goals last year. Time to go shopping

There's only one player in this draft that would, and we have no chance of picking him. We won't be any closer to the payoffs next year. Still were about 6-8 players short of an NHL roster. Not to mention our two backups.

Players have to want to play for a losing team. We can't just pick up two player that get 100 points, or at least I find it highly unlikely. Maybe if EP gets 50-60 point and a UFA like JVR. Either way, the UFA is likely to be overpaid IMO.

Sunday mornings are way to busy in our house. One kid does swimming lessons at 8:30 and the other at 11:00.
