Dobson could get picked up before 7 . He is big and had a great Mem Cup.

Unlike Don , I really like Boqvist shot and PP skill. He really needs to work on his D but I could see him helping out in scoring. We haven't really had a regular in years that could shoot the puck. I could see AB scoring 15 as an NHLer in 3-5 years

Dahlin is the first generational D since lidstrom.... Edmonton management are like leaving a club with a TV prostitute, blind drunk, at 2am, with 10k cash and letting the first homeless person you see drive you home, never know where you'll end up or how you got there.

Players have to want to play for a losing team. We can't just pick up two player that get 100 points, or at least I find it highly unlikely. Maybe if EP gets 50-60 point and a UFA like JVR. Either way, the UFA is likely to be overpaid IMO.

All can be had 2 to 3 years for 4 mil or a lot less . All around the 40 pt or better

Well maybe the GM has to be smart enough to make the right trade ...don’t trade Hall unless you get a better return ...don’t trade a first for a bust D ....get a better return on Eberle ....don’t overpay for Lucic

I would have no issue if we took him at 7.

Everyone is pushing to hard for defense to be drafted so early. While it is deep with defense I don’t necessarily think that more than 2 or 3 go in the top 10.
