I thought it was a growing love for Wahlstrom over any D.

Literally was trying to talk everyone out of it and I failed.

Not me. Wahlstrom is borderline 2nd overall for me. He won’t be at 7. If he is and we don’t take him I will be in the shower crying.

I’m thinking would you trade the 7 for say the 15 and 46

Or something like that

I can’t see why any GM would give a 2nd for Sven ....just sign a free agent for a mill or two and keep the pick

who knows what he would fetch. just used an example. coulda said player x instead.
i wouldn't do the 15 and 46 deal.

if Tanev coulda stayed healthy and up'd his value. Then a "hope" would have been
Tanev to NYI for 12 or 13.

If 7OA gets u Hanifin, go for it?
draft someone at 12 or 13.

All things likely not happening. But LL needs to show JT he is going to address the D and or G before July 1.

If you can leave the draft with Hanifan and one of the isles picks giving up just that I say it’s a win

But I still think others would rather just use the 7 and get a first anywhere for Tanev ...or maybe a really good prospect for him

My choice is Wahlstrom but I understand others wanting the Dman

I wouldn't mind trying Dahlen Pettersson Wahlstrom as a future line

Islanders would only consider trading for Tanev if they can resign Tavares. If they can and did trade for him they would make the playoffs. Instantly a better team with him on the backend.

yup. my bet is he doesn't go anywhere. if he does, it's likely next TDL and JB will look to make a splash at the draft in our own town.

but its fun to speculate and dream.

Question for Victoria Royals followers. Is Griffin Outhouse a very good goalie? Every game I have heard him play against the Vcr Giants he has been great. He is undrafted ,would he be a good candidate to back up Comets?

Tanevs value is at a peak right now ...might even be lower than it was at one point ...longer JB waits the less he might get ...unless Tanev figures out how to play a full 82 games

Yeah. That's the hope, he stays healthy up till the TDL. One silver lining about his injury history: It's not like he has a bad knee or shoulder etc. It's just a combo of things. Some being freak injuries. Puck to face, mumps... food poisoning.

A good idea to have him stick around when OJ arrives. I see OJ as in and out of the lineup. Looks to be a slow developer. Hopefully becomes a 3-4D.

I'd take Dobson, if we trade down to 9or 10ov, take him before bouchard.

Bodqvist is 5ft 11.5inches as a17yo, he's gonna be a real man sized player over 6foot tall. I wonder if that moves him up the rankings? I really like him, NHL shot and speed, needs to learn defense.
I like him but don't think he'll fall to us.

- Pres.cup

I promise he falls to us and we don’t pick him. Guaranteed
