Hard to say either way. You sound pretty sure, for something that isnt factual.

Vanek and pommer played well on the ice together too

- Boss34

I mean, my memory is far from perfect, but it's pretty good. And I also remember those people loved him, I had no idea who he was, and then the Sabres drafted him a few months later and I remembered him. And even before Pominville was traded the rumors were all Minnesota all the time. It was a fait accompli that he was going there, the Pominville trade made it stronger, yes, but he was traded because of the rebuild, it wasn't a tank quite yet, sure, but also because Darcy had to get value and was trying to save his job and knew Vanek would not be re-signing in Buffalo. Then the denial of the massive contract from the Islanders sealed it. He played in the USHL in Sioux Falls, SD for 3 years, like 20 miles from the border with MN, then went to Minnesota, his wife is from there, he had a house there.

Kind of like we all knew Suter and Parise were signing there. There was no doubt. I'm not saying Pominville wasn't gravy, but he was pretty much the furthest thing from the driving factor.

There’s a smudge right below 7th and just above 9th. Can you edit to clear that up please?

My fearless early June prediction...
By Oct 20th 2018 Bogo is Dahlin’s D partner
Dahlin wears #88 after Molson throws a hissy fit at him trying to wear 26.
Molson, retired in SoCal is mumbling something about lack of respect for an HOF-in-wait.

Moulson retires because of his kidneys?
Bogo -dahlin start the pre season as a pairing in kraftville game in upstate ny.
Risto- dahlin finish the game and season together
Bogo - forced out with lower body injury

I guess i just don’t see the harm since everyone,
including Moulson,
knows he’s not gonna play in the NHL for us again

I actually think it’s treating him poorly to bury him, when he could be bought out without any real Cap hit damage to us

U really think he’d be all p!ssed off or feel slighted if they let Dahlin wear his number?
It’s not like they’d be giving it to Nolan

I don’t think he’d care much at all

- jdfitz77

I can't disagree with this more. He signed the contract and now sucks. The only thing the sabres owe him is his paycheck. They already did him a huge favor to let him play in California.

If he has a problem with how he's being treated, he can retire and play in Europe. Or let his tens of millions of dollars comfort him

I'm guessing he's going to wear #8 like he did for Sweden.

And who are these magical Wingers that are going to help Jack , Casey ? You have to move ROR for winger help we have "ZERO" speed on the wings

Don't mention Justin Bailey or Nick Baptiste if that's the plan mine as well tank the season

Can ror play on Jack's wing? - no magic- just a coaches decision

Even Svechnikov or Zadina would have changed everything. Botts picked a good year to bottom out that’s forsure.

I personally think a line of Mittelstadt-Eichel-Bailey would be pretty sweet.

the 7 million dollar winger sucked the life out of jack, according to you, so maybe cheap wingers are the way to go

I would go
casey, eichel, skunk
free agent/trade lw-ror-baptise
bailey-e-rod-okposo

but if nylander is ready, like you say, why not try him with ror or eichel
