It's beyond stupidity...it's the kind of move that should get a GM fired if it doesn't pan out. Much like Bergevin should have been canned for moving Sergachev for Drouin.

You don't move a top goalie prospect for a maybe dman. Sure there is always a chance that both Demko and Hanifin would not pan out it's just to risky.

If they offered Hanifin for the 7OA straight up...then we would need to look at it IMO as D is by far our biggest need right now. But no way at the expense of Demko.
