Can we trade for Owen Tippet?

a nice honor for him, but Storm suck. He looked good in the stint he got with the Phantoms. |

Petrovic. Florida's management must be elated that the Knights' luck seems to have finally run out. Karlsson may be the best player on that top line, but I don't think Columbus look nearly as bad for exposing him as the Panthers do for paying Vegas with Smith to take Marchessault. Karlsson never even hinted at being a 40/30 guy as a BJ.

He's a very big kid, but he's more of a finesse scorer, than a hitter. |

He doesn't need to be humbled, and top prospects don't belong in the ECHL. - Feanor
I know I've said this before but as a kid I went to a ECHL All Star game. Saddest excuse for pro hockey I've ever seen. Half the guys on the ice couldn't even elevate the puck. I honestly believe that league exists solely to to give goaltending prospects a place to get ice time. |

Morin was in line to replace Manning as the #6/7, not Gudas. You may want to dump the Flyers only veteran RHD for a pick, but there's no indication that Hextall does. - Feanor
I don't think Morin would be replacing a 7th defenseman in any shape or form.
Edit
Before arguments and insults breakout because I disagree with this post. In my opinion, a healthy Morin is every bit the player Robert Hagg could potentially be. Is Hagg a 7th defenseman in the NHL? I don't think so. If Hagg doesn't also get hurt at the end of this past season, I think he sees every game he could play. Brandon Manning was a very inconsistent player in his own end. |

I thought Brandon Manning was very consistently bad in his own end last year. IMHO. |

The more I think about it, I think the Flyers should try to trade with Chicago (#8) to snag Wahlstrom (unless teams go D and he slides) or try to trade with EDM(#10) or NYI to snag Fabaree. I wouldn’t hesitate to include Simmonds in any of the scenarios either. There’s zero chance Wahlstrom is there at 14 and I highly doubt Farabee is either. Either one of these wingers would be great adds for our system imho |

I am curious what happens with some of those teams in the top 10.
Buffalo: Dahlin
Carolina: Do they trade to get more assets or take BPA in Svechnikov?
Montreal: Need a center but also a defense. Reports they love Tkatchuk. But would they take a defender like Hughes?
Ottawa: Do they take a defender like Dobson to help if they lose Karlsson? If Zadina there do you take a skilled winger?
Arizona: I see a defender here. Need to build up the back end
Detroit: Rebulding so could go anywhere but I see defense here too
Vancouver: Again i see them taking defense
Chicago: Wahlstrom here but I could see them trading back or using this pick to shed the Seabrook contract
Rangers: Possibly Kotkaniemi but could go anywhere since they are rebuilding
Edmonton: Could see this moved but also a team that needs defense.
So the top then I could see a lot of moving pieces because some teams have multiple directions they could go. |

Hextall and Hakstol's depth chart this season was very clear.
Provorov
Ghost
MacDonald
Hagg
Gudas
Manning

Yeah it’s crazy when you try to break it down and guess which direction a team could go; especially when you factor in trades like you did for CAR. I’ve seen many mocks have Tkachuk go 3rd and more keep popping up with even Kotkaniemi going 3rd. draft day can’t come soon enough! |

Still even if he just uses his size to get good position and protect the puck, I'm fine with that. It's rare you see a guy his size with his skating ability.

I'd be very surprised if this was the final order of picks, deals will be made.
Beyond Dahlin going 1st to Buffalo, the rest is almost impossible to predict.
To me, I look at more as in what range I guy will go.
For example:
Svechnikov, Zadina and maybe Tkachuk could go as high as 2, and none will be on the board past 6. I could see Hughes or Boqvist going as high as #4 to Ottawa and I think both are certainly gone by #12 at the very latest.
The range I see some other top guys falling in:
Wahlstrom 4-10
Dobson 5-11
Bouchard 7-15
Smith 8-16
Kotkaniemi 6-16 (I can see the Habs trading back a few spots and taking him)
Farabee 8-15
Veleno 7-16
After that, It really starts getting tough to predict. For example, I can see a guy like Berggren going anywhere from as high as 15,16 to the beginning of the 2nd round. Or a guy like Miller going anywhere from 15 to the end of the first. It's just impossible to know for sure or with any reasonable certainty.

Oh I know. Was just bored and thought I would try my best as iff the teams all stayed in their spot.
I don't see the Islanders using both picks. I think one gets moved possibly for a goalie. Lou did it for Schnieder...would he do it again now that he is with the Islanders.
I cold see some defense needy teams trying to move up since there seems to be some offensive defenders this year.
I think Lundestrom could move up in the draft. He has a really solid game and is one of the younger players in the draft.

What I really like is when he had a superstition that got exposed in the WJC and people made comments he killed the superstition. IMO that's huge for a goalie. It shows that he is able to adapt quickly and take advise. |

agreed, he is the winger they need to hit on. That is how the pens won, they hit on some 2nd and beyond pics or undrafted free agents |
