Dude comes out of the gates on fire...gets 2 concussions and almost dies...now he's probably going to be struggling to stay in the league.

You're missing the forest for the trees here. Hamilton is what you're getting. Bennett just gives you a player to plug into the forward ranks, and you hope he can regroup from 2 poor seasons - jcragcrumple
That’s great you still haven’t fixed the problem at wing
Don’t say Pominville or Gus They shouldn’t be in this conversation if the goal is to be better those 2 won’t be in the top 2 so there’s that

If they get Hamilton for ROR, ok, sure, but they absolutely can not get worse at defense if they get rid of Risto.

Hamilton for Ror and pick #32, Calgary has no picks in the first 3 rounds, they’d love pick #32.
Skinner for McCabe, Bailey, and Minnesota’s 4th. Skinner’s a UFA next season, how much is he realistically worth?
Sign Vanek, 1 year deal.

I think he would be 2C in this scenario, unless you're thinking Erod is 2C, which... seems like a bad idea |

why would it be a bad thought?
kid was one of our best points per minute played 5 on 5
has wheels
plays fine in our own end
think outside the box |

Aren't you a little worried that he's a probelm this would be his 3rd team
And let's not forget all of us including other fans said Boston was crazy to trade him now Calgary wants him gone - gerbe75pts
Sweeney might be even dumber than Chiarelli. And if Calgary wanted him gone they'd do a deal like they got for him, trading him for ROR is not that. |

Then you're retaining girgs and Larsson to fill out the center depth.
If they traded ROR, I'd rather they go three deep at center with Eichel, Mitts and ERod. If they keep ROR, I'd like to go four deep with the same group |

I like the Hamilton idea. I'm not sure what to make of the media reports. Boston started bashing him the second he left the organization. Is that spin, or is it reality? No idea.
ROR for Hamilton seems like the starting point for a good trade though

Pierre Lebrun said that the price for Skinner is a first round pick and a prospect. He also said he feels ROR is the most likely player to be moved by the Sabres. |

no clue what he is going to do
pretty sure he can grab a free agent for a center
again e-rod had an outstanding point per minute playing 5 on 5 compared to other guys
and wheels
and decent in his own end |
