The Canucks were on a roll and gaining momentum when the injuries hit like a tidal wave. I don't believe Dorsett being lost was the reason but the point about how the team was playing is true.

Do you watch the Canucks games with Botchford doing the colour commentating?

I just never expected a lineup that’s 40% AHL and has two backups to do well. Every year it’s injuries it seems for people that are willing to believe it. Thing is, every team deals with them. Some teams have this thing called depth though

I think you missed the game here... he would still be in a old thread after we've moved on.

Did the team fall apart right after his injury or not? No one is disputing that the team sucks

It's like this... I never claimed Dorsett was a defensive player. I give credit to Sutter on the shutdown line for that. Dorsett's role on a shut down line was the strength of his aggressive forecheck. That line was very effective at keeping the puck at the other end and creating chances whether it was Granlund or JV on the other wing. Offensive face offs followed. I see that you are going over collective stats etc... not where I was coming from.

I'm sure Lefty would be outraged at giving up a 2nd.

It's not a surprise.

Sbisa turned the puck over like that constantly.

And he's done it all year but because he managed to not be -198 this season some people were trying to say he's actually legit top 4 now.

All I know about him is that he got pissed when Gillis called him fat live on the air during an interview
