I’m going with lefty. He sits at the same table with all of them. Best Russian hockey player of all time. Saying he isn’t great is silly. - thundachunk
Greatest Russian, yes, top 10 all time, fine, he's nowhere near as great as the 5 listed. Saying he is is just as silly.

Agreed, not even close. What about Crosby? Lemieux? There are lots of players not listed that have had far better careers. Scoring goals is only one part of the picture
Dobson at 7 - K'andre Miller at 37. Top pairing for next ten years. Rebuild over - CanuckDon
If either are available, no questions or silly rants from me.
I would be thrilled too get Either or both, and would be fine with Alexeev, McIsaac, Samuelsson...my list has 52 players that i like, including some Swedes😁
Those are the greats... period. OV is distant behind them. - DariusKnight
i think by the time ovechkins career is over, he should be ahead of the rocket (but crosby will be ahead of both). even though goal scoring isnt everything, the fact he will be close to the all time mark playing entirely in this era is remarkable.
right now for me though he is in bure territory, hof-er, but if he can keep it going for another 5+ years, then he'll be easily top-10 all time

No one is as great as Lemieux, Gretzky or Orr, that's a given, those three players are a level unto themselves.
However, being a top 10 player in NHL history is pretty damn good and in my books certainly puts him in one of the greatest of all time category. He's 6th all time in goals/game career in an era where it's been tough to score and he's ahead of some great 80's goal scorers. Only Bossy Lemieux and Bure are ahead of him for people born in the 1900's, the other two guys were from the very early days of hockey, both born in 1890's.

thankfully everyone else knows we aren't getting Bustvist. - CanuckDon
If Benning keeps the pick I could defiently see him taking Boqvist if hes there. Im not saying I want Boqvist (100% want Hughes) but all this talk about Dobson reminds me of Cody Glass last year and Benning went with Pettersson

It would be a HUGE mistake. He is definitley the most likely to bust this draft. Dobson is a rock although I fear he won't make it to 7. I just hope the Canucks draft Whalstrom if he is gone.
