Drafting BPA (successfully) increases overall asset value within the organisation. If you end up overloaded at a particular position, you have value to move for positions that are lacking (see Johannson for Jones, Drouin for Sergachev etc).

If you feel that dmen hold higher trade value, then consider that when calculating who will have the higher overall value as BPA.

There is absolutely 0% chance Zadina makes it to 7. If Montreal doesn't take him and Ottawa doesn't take him(which why wouldn't they?) there's no way Arizona or Detroit doesn't take him. They both have needs at all positions and he will be by far BPA at that point.
