Then why did Benning offer up his best Dman for ROR?
I have heard the offer from other sources than Taj but he is still an idiot. - VANTEL
Age. Tanev has good value, but not for much longer. Dmen are more valuable than forwards. Another reason we should take one. |

There is absolutely 0% chance Zadina makes it to 7. If Montreal doesn't take him and Ottawa doesn't take him(which why wouldn't they?) there's no way Arizona or Detroit doesn't take him. They both have needs at all positions and he will be by far BPA at that point. - NorthNuck
I would be very happy with Wahlstrom |

I would be too. Realistically he is the only forward I could see us taking, though I still want a Dman |

I know EP is going to start at RW but I really hope if they transition him to C this year that he gets to play with JV. I think the speed and skill combo of those 2 would be great, it's just a matter of figuring out who would make the best 3rd guy on that line. My guess would be Gagner or Eriksson |

apparently we offered Tanev + Virtanen + Tryamkin's rights for RoR and rejected by Buff
and the 7th for Hanifin
both from Taj on twitter. Not sure if been mentioned here today. - BobBot

Getting rid of JV to soon is a mistake. He is a great building block and we lose speed. I’m on the F@ck no ROR train. - thundachunk
I'm driving the train. I keep JV. The only way I move Tree is if he's told VAN he's never coming back. He keeps tabs on Canucks players and makes the odd comments on twitter. Why would he bother if he wasn't coming back?
All these rumours make me very afraid. Like Nucker said, If anything happens it'll be on the floor at pick 7. I'm gonna be nervous. Jimbo..... build through the draft right?

I think he'd be great with EP. Can't believe I'm saying this, but LE could be a pretty valuable player for us going forward. Nobody left to play C tho haha. |

Like I say, once EP is playing C that could be a great line. EP is good enough to create the chances for garbage goals LE is used to scoring. Virtanen to protect EP and receive the occasional breakaway pass |

Good flagging, Don. Quoting Taj or Tanbir is inexcusable and offensive. |

Kid gets rejected a lot. Probably cause his first line is always “do you know I’m a star for the Canucks?” But he works hard at it |

.@botchford: If you're doing an audit of this front office, what has gone right and wrong in four years...on one side, the profesional players they've acquired thru trade and free agency, there's a lot of misses.
Yes Botch, yes there has |

More @botchford: You look at the draft: Boeser, home run. Pettersson, looks like home run. Gaudette, possibility of being home run. Tryamkin had the potential. There's a lot of check marks. The draft is where they do well. Trades and signing FAs, a ton of misses
I would question this because there's no mention of Virtanen and Juolevi, but I will say this, last year has a ton of potential!! |

Ohhh man going through this $%&^$ season, and seeing us drop in the lottery again only to see Bettman walk up to podium when Vancouver is on the clock and say
" We have a trade to announce"
That would be such a kick in the balls. |

I'm terrified Benning is going to trade that pick for Hanifin. |
