This is the worst case scenario for them.
This was supposedly to be prove everyone wrong year. They failed. I doubt these players all have it in them again to do it again.
If I’m GM of Vegas I tear it down. Trade players for future assets and rebuild it to perennial contenders. This was just a fluke. |

Agreed. Between assembling a hodge-podge roster of castaways, regardless of how good some of them are. Factoring in how many have UFA status, there's not much for next year. Blow it up, and build a true Vegas team.
Congratulation to Washington and Ovechkin, you guy deserve the Cup.
