It's a contractual move, really. When it's time to pay Dahlin, he's gone, and so is Okposo's 6M.

However, I think the team is worse off with Perry than Okposo. Perry has little chance to kick the trend he's been going down. Okposo will come back in top shape and return to ~60 pts barring injury. His concussion really boned his offseason conditioning.

The point is, people seem to think were obligated to sell RoR on the cheap and accept their players at a high value.

He has a NMC that turns into a NTC on 7/1/18

At that point he can no thank you 15 teams.

Perry has a full NMC.

Perry is owed $24 mil over the next 3 seasons, Okposo is owed $18 mil over that time and $26 mil left on the deal.

ROR is more valuable than Skinner and has a higher floor. I would be trading something else for Skinner like the SJ 1st or another player over ROR if you really wanted him.

Personally I think Hoffman would be a better fit on the wing for them. Add Domi into the mix as well depending on who else they might be targeting and you are in business. Yes, I know some don't like Domi but hes a 40-50 pt guy on the wing we could use and fits the age our team is building around not to mention MUCH better than what we have now

If they trade for someone like Hanifin then most likely will need to ship out a current D to fill the forward void so should be a bunch of trades this offseason
