??? this year maybe...but i'm looking over their careers given they were both drafted at the same time. Other than Scandella...when has he ever had a proven NHL defenseman as a partner? And our forward group has been absolutely awful defensively since 2013.

I think these two fall into the latter.

Okpsos and Sam have been moved around or have spent time on 3rd or 4th lines where they weren't getting beneficial ice time.

Yeah, I remember talking about it. Jones' perceived value went way up because of this, really good, season. And for someone who(Gerbe obviously) puts no stock into single seasons it's really quite funny.
