The flames would want Reinhart imo, and they're trying to move Brodie, not Hamilton. I would move ROR or Reinhart plus a pick for Hamilton, tho.

You definitely wouldn't need a constitutional amendment. In the Free speech realm, for example, you can't yell "fire" in a crowded movie theater. Freedom of the Press is similarly limited. The press can in *extreme* situations be banned from reporting on criminal proceedings. That example is rare, but the use of this type of "prior restraint" has also been used in relation to reporting on national security and law enforcement.

All that being said...banning the dumbass media from glorifying the shooter isn't the hill I'd die on. The rest of the suggestions I proposed would be sufficient to curb the issue. To that end, there is no way to complete eliminate mass shootings without stoking a cultural shift that would shake the country to its very bedrock and would likely lead to a 2nd civil war.

I agree they shouldn't give these bumholes any glory, but you'd have a real hard time trying to convince them it's in the national interest and banning them from doing it. It would be a bloody battle. And while you might not need an amendment from a legal standpoint, I think that from a societal standpoint you would. It would need to be rock solid. Putting restrictions on the press can be a very, very slippery slope, and normally that's a bullpoop argument, like with gay marriage, "what's to stop someone from marrying their pets?", but in this case reigning in the press usually leads to bad things.

If there are guns there will be mass shootings, full stop. Even if the only people who have them are cops, how many times have we read an article that some dumbass cop left their gun unattended, or flat out lost it? The moron FBI agent last weekend that negligently shot a guy because his gun fell out of his pants.

I'm not sure what it would take, you'd think Las Vegas would've spurred SOMETHING, any kind of movement, but it was talked about for a week and then we moved onto the next one. Something like 90% of people agree that there should be universal background checks. poop you can't get 90% of people to agree on anything, like that cake is obviously superior to pie. You may be right in that it's so ingrained into people that it would be the cause of strife and open conflict before any major changes happen.

I think a healthy Jack is a PPG player, so hopefully we're looking at 82+ points from him. If Sam's second half wasn't a fluke, I could see him up in the 60s. ROR seems too high given his historic production. I think a healthy Okposso can get ~60 points.

I won't even hazard a guess for Mitts and Dahlin.

Seriously though yeah, I retook the course with her and she has her permit now (finally). We're last house on a dead end road in Otto, so not many people. Even less neighbors. Closest is a half mile up the side of the hill, so that's the reason for less worry on that front anyways.

Gotcha. People, even people well versed, don't realize how unpredictable a bullet's path becomes once it hits something. Even a fragment can do serious damage. And maybe mostly that being shot anywhere in the torso is not instant death, or even incapacitation. There are interviews with soldiers who said it took 10, 20 bullets to put someone down. The ending of Training Day is less bullpoop than you might think. Still pretty bullpoop, but not entirely inconceivable.
