Hammer meet nail. Pach, as usual you have nailed it. It doesn't matter what all of us wanna be GM's and brilliant hockey minds think is a good trade for ROR. In the end, it's what the buyer is willing to pay for his talents. Trading a player is no different than selling a house. You might think your house is the most beautiful house in the neighborhood and it's worth $1 million. In the end, it's worth whatever somebody is willing to pay you for said house.

I just hope that ROR is viewed by other GM's as being a pretty damn nice looking house and they are willing to pay close to Jason Botterill's likely $1 million asking price.

Instead of reaching for Kot, it would definitely behoove MTL to trade down.. Sounds like there's a lot of interest in trading down in this draft.. but the chance to draft Zadina should garner more than enough interest to trade up.
