I don't know enough about him to guess yes or no, but the write-ups about him are excellent. His biggest downside is his first step. Hockey IQ through the charts and he's top 20 in history for a 17 year old playing in the professional SM-liliga for points per game, I think I read that.

Joel Armia had a better draft season then Kotkaniemi. They have similiar games, IMO. Kotkaniemi does fit the Vegas NHL. Hound the pick carrier.
