I see more and more people are picking up my idea about Sparks...

But I don’t think they trade him in the east. Also waiting for waivers is tricky. You’ll have to sign another goalie until then. Also what happens if they don’t waive him?

I’m not moving pick 32 for a goalie.

If Carlson leaves Washington what about McCabe for Grubauer?

Why do you think schenn is available ? They're trying to acquire a center so they have 2 good lines

Rather not trade an NHL dman for the rights of a goalie, especially when that goalie is not a clear 1.

not sure, but I can't remember the rags doing a full rebuild...they've got a lot of picks, but still need a top-six center (hello, ror) which they probably won't find where they're drafting... and I've always been a fan of Kreider...

Lehner, Bailey and 32 for Kreider would give them a backup, a LW and 6 picks in the top 60. Not a bad way to kick off a rebuild. Or swap Bailey for Nylander

i'm in favor of bringing in cam ward for a year of two

In 100 NHL games his save percentage is .923

He played well this year in over 30 games.

If some team offer sheeted him and the Sabres lost him the picks coming back to Buffalo would be a lot more than what they could get for McCabe. Or you know Buffalo matches the deal.

I would want more than Kreider though. Maybe swap one of their firsts for 32?

Trade ror for Skinner. Agree to extension prior to trade. Sign center with faceoff ability and defensive accumen for three years like Stastny. Trade Baptiste and 32 for Namestnikov.

I get it, but he checks off plenty of boxes and as 34 yr. old vet, there shouldn't be any internal controversies as to his role as a backup and mentor to ullmark
