The way that old-ass SJ team is on the verge of regression, that pick they owe us could be worth a fortune in 2020. No way I'd move it.

You get the same thing for goaltending with Carter Hutton, instead of Ward. How come nobody mentions a offer sheet for Tom Wilson? He would look pretty good riding shotgun on Eichel's line and it would leave Reinhart for O'Reilly's line.

The reason I'm against Skinner is you're giving up assets to get him, and he's likely going to cost around $7M per on his new deal. Not sure where the idea is coming from that he'd cost $6M per, or crazier, less.

I fully understand the risk of suspension, But I'm willing to take that chance on a 24yo player who in my eyes has a upside we haven't seen yet. The Oilers brought in Lucic to ride shotgun for McDavid, we would be doing the same thing with Wilson and after he "proves himself", you aren't going to touch him for we can get him for now. If you don't want to put him with Eichel, then feel free to slot him with Mittlestadt, But sleep well nobody is going to harass our skilled players.

So you offer sheet him for $3.5 (which is probably the breaking point for the caps), give up a second rounder, and get blackballed by half the GMs in the league.
