that being said he would slot in nicely on the flyers; the need is there. As flyers are not that great down the middle. he is right age, contract not too much of a killer. - rinaldo
So what's the offer? |

Mittelstadt was scoring at a .83 PPG clip SIR!!!! That'd be good for a 69 pt season surely. FOR SURE. Undoubtedly. - JVince11
If he doesn’t break 70 puts this year he’s basically regressing. |

I would move voracek in the right deal.
Provorov and patrick are probably the true only untouchables imo. rest depends what the deal is; cant see buffalo wanting giroux. - rinaldo
He has a NMC so I'm guessing that's a nonstarter |

I would love Sanheim/Morin and Konecny. But i feel that is a too steep of a price to pay. |

I think 50-55 points is a good bet. The people who think he won’t make an impact right away really need to look at the Calder candidates this year and the points they put up. |

haha points are just number, because a player don't reach same amount of points he's regressing ? you should review your way of thinking my friend... watch him play instead of looking at NHL.com stats... |

Yea, I feel like the Calder is not the race it once was. We could have two guys in the running if Dahlin holds true even.
I think with Casey it'll depend on his minutes over an 82 game season that he's never played. Do they soft roll him as a 3C for awhile, do they put him at 2LW and have ROR take faceoffs then slide Casey to the pivot, i don't know.
I really wish Casey and Asplund could play some LW. It would make our top 9 MUCh easier to fill in. |

what started all of this was me stating that i didn't think adding Casey and Dahlin really moved us out of the basement. i stand by that. Not saying that he can't get 50-55 points this season, but we were more than 35 goals shy of being a good team this past season |

Voracek's contract is even bigger than ROR's. Plus Voracek plays RW and we badly need LW help.
It just doesn't fit. With PHI it'd have to be for a D-man. |

i don't think rasmus will be ready for the nhl next season.. i hope they slow roll him on the 3rd for a little or switch him to wing. i think throwing him at 2C out the gate is too much |

One player will not move us no. But Casey scoring 55 pts would surely mean that whoever is on his wings would be having a good year too whether that be Nylander, Okposo, Pommer, or other. This would also mean that ROR (if still here) would be pivoting a line too with it's own wings who could face easier competition if teams are scared of Casey playing well against them... which could improve their stats.
Then add in a better break out and zone entry with Dahlin... maybe better goaltending from whoever... It could be a big change. |
