Worst case scenario, he takes a leave of absence and comes back. It happens in the NFL all the time.

Good point, he was kind of at a crossroads with his career. Sens took a chance and it worked out pretty good for both parties until he got hurt. What I'm saying is I don't think we had much competition in signing him though..

According to Renaud Lavoir, the Sens have know about this since AT LEAST March and he seems to suggest other players just want to get the (frank) out of town.

This whole train wreck of a season makes sense now. Karlsson came back at almost the exact time that the harassment began. From what Andrew Hammond’s wife tweeted earlier this afternoon in support, it would seem that Melinda Karlsson did not want this to become a public matter and that there was a lot more going on behind the scenes. Kyle Turris’ wife has also tweeted her support of Melinda Karlsson. This is the smoking gun folks. The season fell apart because of the alleged antics of Caryk. All of the inexplicable on-ice non-sense has to be viewed through this lens. Hoffman has to go immediately. The organization has to show it’s support of the Karlsson’s or they are headed for an even greater debacle than what we have seen so far.
