Poison was just relaying what he knew to my question, so I’m not rebuking his comment in any way.
But did the wives make an indictment of Hoffman’s lady? Or just choose eks side to support her awful circumstances out of loyalty/better friendship etc ? |

There has been a lot of speculation on it for some time and the Sens have known about it since March. There is actual police work that has happened and continues to happen. This would not have gone to court and gotten this far without some sort of evidence. It'll come out more and more.
There's a chance he didn't know. But how he can keep supporting her now is just mind blowing. - Iggysbff
That fair, and I agree I guess there must be something more to go to court.
But you’re basically saying, it’s not IF she did it, that’s a pretty much done deal,
It’s only about whether he knew?
Admittedly, I’m always super hesitant to assume guilt before I know as much Information as possible. It’s just my nature. And as I said, I’m not trying to defend her or mike. Just trying to suss out wtf this story is all about . |

It would appear they spoke in response to the tweets angled towards hoffmans lady as being the guilty party. Its a weird set of events. I get the feeling that someone wasnt accepted into a circle and was angry about it. |

It's good that you're that way. World needs more patience.
To me, from my knowledge of how this stuff works, it's a pretty safe bet that Hoffman's fiancee did something heinous at one time. Did she do it 1,000-plus times? Maybe, maybe not. We're probably never going to know the extent of what she may or may not have done.
We're also likely not gonna really know what Hoffman knew or didn't know.
What is damning, though, is the fact that Hoffman's name was out there for trade a LONG LONG LONG time during the season -- I remember when it was first out there, a ton of people were very surprised about that. He was under contract, deal was extremely affordable. Sens weren't playing well, but it wasn't like when they dealt Turris, who was a free agent to be when they dealt him.
Now, you kinda can fill in the gaps there. I don't know how this would affect a team's season. The Sens overachieved the season before, and I think even their biggest fans would admit that to some degree.
But last season was the opposite -- it was a tire fire almost from the start. Not laying that all at the feet of Hoffman and his fiancee, because I don't know for sure, but the fact that he was out there tells us all something

It's pretty much a given at this point that she did it. Stalking and cyber bullying to the extreme. Most of us on here have made some comments or another but this was to another level...
EK and his wife would get into major shyt themselves over bringing this forward if they don't have proof. So I'm sure there is plenty. |

That's exactly what it sounds like to me too. She wanted to be bff with Karlssons wife and as Hammonds wife said "was obsessed with Karlssons wife" so when she rejected her she went full crazy on her.
Maybe i'm reading too much into this but it sounds like this could be what happened. |

👍 thanks for the insight fellas
I’ll say again. Fuking bizarre and awful
I would like to know if anyone knows how easy it is to track this stuff? I was sorta under the impression that computer geek geniuses can do this kind of stuff in their sleep
They basically had colangelo red handed in a few days and fired in a week for his online transgressions |

People may be over looking some of the major points to this. Sure, teams have signed some low life scums based purely on what they can bring, but this is different.
Who ever trades for Hoffman has to think about the recourse that come with him.
1) Hoffman's play most likely suffer a bit due to distraction. This isn't going away next week. This will be in the news and/or courts for at least 18 months.
2) How will players accept Hoffman as a teammate, will they be able to bond with him? No question there will be different opinions from different players.
3) The wives/girlfriends of players, how would they accept the fiance. Any man that has been in a relationship knows "Happy wife, happy life". If she becomes an outcast it will affect Hoffman as well.
4) The fans. No matter the city, it will be mentioned EVERY time he visits and at home games as well.
That's a lot of risk for JUST a 20-goal scorer. No way he would survive in Philly. He would become the next Billy Tibbets. Not even for a 7th round pick. |

Hoffman's agent is talking out of his ass -- his client is borderline radioactive unless his WAG gets exonerated and straight-up toxic if she doesn't
He can talk crazy about "co-existing" but he should be more concerned about making sure Hoffman's fiancee isn't crazy AF |

1. Break it off with the rotten kunt and come clean
2. Live the rest of your days playing in the KHL in Siberia. |

I know the guy's an agent and he's doing what he's paid to do, but I have followed NHL hockey since 1979 and I have never, and I mean NEVER, heard anything like what might -- repeat might -- have happened in Ottawa
Again: It only takes one GM to take Hoffman. But holy hell. Would you risk your job on something like this?

It's astounding how many people are saying if Hoffman knew... So the team knew, the other players knew, the wives and girlfriends knew, the police knew, anonymous sources knew, but someone how the boyfriend didn't know?
I guess there's a scenario where Melinda is the crazy one and is basing everything off of receiving anonymous threats on social media. But which scenario seems far more realistic? |

So wait, what’s the damning evidence that mike is lying ?
I’m not saying he is or isn’t, just that it seems like everyone’s already made up their minds. I briefly read an article that just kind of talked of the accusation. And then read Hoffman’s response
It’s all so bizarre - HB77
Glad to see at least one person is actually using their brain when reading this. An accusation is not a conviction, and until these accusations are confirmed with some kind of evidence it's really just speculation. Now if it's all true, then by all means say what you will about the people involved. But it's funny how "innocent until proven guilty" tends to go right out the window these days in favour of lynch mob justice.

What do you mean these days? Innocent until proven guilty hasn't been a thing since the first newspaper was published.
