I have to give a seminar on it once a year at least where I work so that these kids (and TEACHERS!) understand the ramifications of who can see what, how it "never goes away" regardless of whether or not they think they deleted it and so forth.

It never dawns on them that pics and posts can be screenshot, downloaded, saved and basically kept for all time.

I have to warn the girls against sending candid selphies (this is a Philly board) because the boys will save them, share them, and there is nothing they can do about it.

I think an nhl team would be foolish not to explore the possibility of adding Hoffman on the cheap. It boils down to he’s with some crazy broad. That’s workable imo

Makes you wonder if Karlsson now really pushes to get moved so he can kind of get away from all this..if it is true. Maybe he just wants to move his family away from all this and the bad memories from the past year. Just a thought.

I don’t know. Have had players here beloved that have been known to bang other players wives right? This is some broad typing on a phone. I’m interested in Hoffman and yes if parts of it are true what he’s willing to do to put this behind him.

I see it as an opportunity to pillage a franchise that’s taking hit after hit

Yup. At this point, Ottawa is the most (frank)ed up franchise in the league. The owner is a douche, the assistant GM just got a restraining order put on him by a 19 year old shuttle driver who claimed the guy kept touching him and was making lewd suggestions and now this. Why the hell would Karlsson even think about staying?

My guess is both guys get dealt at the draft, but with that franchise, who knows?

If I'm an Ottawa Senators fan, I'm praying the team gets sold asap!

It not so much I don't want to take a chance on him, but that I think there will be better prospects available at 19 than Foudy. Right now, he'd fall into the 30-35 range when it comes to my personal prospect rankings.

Too many “safe” picks....guys w slightly above average all around skills who don’t blossom at the NHL level. Just think sometimes you need to find the diamond in the rough.

I agree and disagree. I agree because we truly don’t know everything yet; it’s entirely possible Hoffman fooled around with Melinda. And I’m not justifying these horrible messages from his fiancee in anyway. the messages are wrong no matter what the reasoning is. But if Hoffman knew, which I can’t see him not knowing as other wives and ownership were aware, then as others have said you have a questionable character player and I’m not sure how players and even players’ significant others would react.
