Tomahawk did pretty well here. His list of guys were up 30 goals overall.
Read - down 9 goals
Raffl - up 5 goals
Weise - down 4 goals
Filppula - down 1 goal
Ghost - up 6 goals
Konecny - up 13 goals
Giroux - up 20 goals
And they improved by 37 goals overall. - Feanor
(to be fair tho, it wasn't much of a prediction... they had nowhere to go but up) |

I don't know, man -- if she did it, and if he knew (which are two big ifs) -- why even bring that problem to your doorstep?
Hard enough to win in that league. You already have multiple alpha dogs on any given NHL roster on any given day.
To me, just my opinion, you don't drop a Crazy Bomb into a locker room and then get to act surprised if it explodes. So why even risk it - AllInForFlyers
The guy is a helluva one-time threat from the right circle, and can carry thru the NZ like a boss, tho.

One thing you can never question is my love for this team. I just want to see more compete this coming season. I felt like Giroux, Couturier and whoever played with them (Konecny, Voracek, Simmonds) were the only forwards who gave everything they had most nights. Provorov certainly deserves to be noticed as one of those names.
In terms of taking steps forward. We had a young forward by name of Nolan Patrick fall into our big fat lucky laps and instead of adding to our nucleus, we divided from it. I just would have been more satisfied with seeing the best possible roster placed on the ice heading into the 2017-18 season. I don't think Hextall did that. |

I want to see them win a Stanley Cup in my lifetime. If they have to take one step back to take 2 steps forward, I am okay with that. |

I have never questioned your love for the Flyers, your thought process however, well, that’s a different story. |

It means trading a young player in his prime for two first round picks in two separate drafts and Jori Lehtera.
It means making the playoffs on the last day of the season just to be a sacrifice to a clearly better team or missing the playoffs the season before.
It's Filppula being the best suited player to replace Couturier if he gets hurt and than talking about re-signing him when he should be a clear dump.
It's playing the two imbeciles on the third pair while a guy like Travis Sanheim watches from the press box.
I'm glad you're satisfied. - SuperSchennBros
Point one is not an issue as the production was replaced overall.
Point two is a joke since they had a rough stretch when their top 2 goalies got hurt before that they were solidly in the playoffs and a healthy not rushed back Elliott probably plays better than he did in the playoffs. The team with Schenn missed the playoffs without him they made the playoffs. What in that result makes it a worse team?
Point three you weren't listening to Hextall. The ONLY way they resign Filpulla is if they can't find a better option.
Point four I almost agree with but I wouldn't have had Sanhiem on pair 3. I'd have had him with AMac which means pair 2. I would have used Provy-Hagg, AMac-Sanheim, Ghost-Gudas and kept the time even for the bottom 2 pairs as best I could.

DING DING DING! and here's the odd thing. THEY MADE THE PLAYOFFS! Isn't that actually a step FORWARD from missing them? Last day or not? Also they had 2 teams tank to get behind them so as to not face the team we ended up facing otherwise the Flyers would have played Tampa. |
