is anyone really surprised to hear that about pommer? - Michael Pachla
nope
nice guy, who wore the C before in buffalo by default and tenure |

Hm. I'm not sure I want Galy. For what I'd personally want to build, I want quality guys on and off the ice that continually give their all to the team. From what I've read, that is not the case with him.
I like Patches, but we'd need more. Juulsen I guess. - TheSabresTaco
I assume you mean Galchenyuk not Gallagher and if so I can understand that especially at the building stage vs finishing stage. Juulsen would make a lot of sense as a target and you have to give to get but that might hurt. Patches I don't think makes sense for the Sabres either.
If Juulsen for arguments sake would you be willing to take back a contract or retain salary to balance a bit? |

My source told me that the Eichel/ROR beef all starts from ROR’s preference for no olives in his egg salad.
If that’s true, theres no way they’re solving that one. Somebody’s gotta go, “and I’m all outta cake.” - Der Kaiser

Would you watch universally beloved older movies like The Godfather or Citizen Kane? |

Ristolainen will not be a Sabre much longer. He’s a problem for the coaches - sbroads24
growing pains adjusting to a new coach, with a team that sucks
I still think he will stick around
it's not like we were hearing these stories from disco sucks or murray
ror, different story

Well, if it's not Patches, I think I would do Poehling and Juulsen for ROR.. I don' think that's an overpayment by either team, but if you don't think it's fair, we could add a 4th, or a B prospect like Bailey, or take Shaw for Bogo and Larsson |

So ROR is a core piece here, who is the core guy coming back? Don’t think either of them would be considered core.... just two guys ( granted not bad players... but)
Just don’t think mtl makes a good trade partner. |

that's your top-two left wingers there, plus some protection from patches for mitts on the second line |

I don't know how I feel about Drouin. He's like 'a guy' to me. Just kinda there. |

Putting together the pieces of many stories, including a nice long conversation with a NHL ref, it seems like Eichel is hard on those who aren't going hard and the older guys don't really care much for being yelled at by a 21 year old - Shadman306
I can see that but as an outsider to all this it seems like they are in a tough spot. I agree that ROR needs to go but I just don't agree it should have anything to do with his relationship with Eichel. He is overpaid to be a #2 and is too slow for the way they want to play. Also the #1 pick this year isn't a Sid Ovi or McJesus so its going to be at least 2 years until things start turning around. Some things I've read from people on here are saying different and its sad. |

I think there's a lot MTL could give you, but their prospects, assuming that's what we want, are not too hot. Poehling and Juulsen would be cool, but correct me if I'm wrong, they're no more than a top 6C and a top 4D. However, they're young and cost controlled. Maybe get that #35. |

It's not just about Eichel though. His attitude is affecting the entire team, and himself.
Allegedly. |

IMHO If ROR or Risto get traded you better get back someone that is a core piece... and if Risto is a problem with the coaches, maybe he just needs to sit his ass on the bench for some games, or we need stronger coaching? |

This adds up, to me. He's trying hard to lead a team of guys who don't give a poop. This is why we suck. I guarantee if all the guys were on the same page, we'd be 20 points better. At least.
Bold claim, I know.
Were you the one who posted yesterday or something about how this ref was saying how the older guys just roll their eyes at Eichel - TheSabresTaco
I mentioned something like that the other day and I think someone else seconded it |

Without going through a number of reasons I don't see this happening I'll go with the saddest reason:
Xenophobia
Drouin isn't going anywhere because he's french. There's many other reasons but that's the easiest starting point |
