There's no punishment for it. The players are just tested, and if the levels are high enough, the doctor can say "do you need help?"

I'd do Allen for Lehner every day of the week and twice on Sundays. That's a no brainer. IDC if you think he benefitted from playing behind an elite D... he's hands down better than Lehner and more consistent.

in a normal person its out of your system in 2-3 days. when exercising at the level of a professional athlete it can be less than 48 hours.

They test just like the nfl does. It is “random testing” as in your name got randomly selected and they then inform the player 90 days before his “random” test. Anyone who fails is a complete idiot.
I valeted cars for a couple years a few years ago, we would find drugs in their cars all the time. I have been tipped in weed many times, got tipped a gram of blow one time from an nfl running back. These guys love to party, it’s no secret.

MTL is in a tough spot... just signed Price to a huge deal, Weber isn't getting any younger, and have basically 3x 3rd line centers.

After trading away Subban, signing Price to a huge contract instead of getting a haul for him, and generally stinking up the place, I don't foresee their fan base taking the idea of a rebuild very well.

ROR would instantly be their 1C.

I'm on the fence about both Drouin and Petry. I just don't like Drouin's attitude. Thought he handled the issues with TBL like douche, and Petry just because of age.

Any discussion not involving their 3OA heading our way would be a nonstarter for me.

But like you said, I would highly doubt they'd move their 3OA.
