Ehlers is significantly better. You really have to strain to argue otherwise, too far to be credible in my book.

Ehlers rates and effeciency stats stick out on a top 3 team in the league.

You dont buy out players in the NHL. Its a last case scenario. And you certainly dont buy out players on the last year of their deal.

If you swapped our D with the Jet's, they'd be better too. These circular arguments never end and they aren't at all compelling. The only thing they are good for is to show that we only have 1 difference maker on the team and that the guys you want to swap there aren't.
