Haha when you jumped what went through your mind ? - gerbe75pts
It’s scary up until u actually leap
The build up is the worst part
Although I’ve always been a “just do it” kinda guy
Bridge jumping & cliff jumping, snowboarding & halfpipe skateboarding when i was growing up
Etc etc etc
When you’re just floating in the air,
all that goes away
Hard to describe the feeling
It’s thrilling & peaceful at the same time

But really Tim Murray wasted so many picks that could be in the nhl helping us now
9 2nd round picks
3 - 3rds
1 - first
Right ? - gerbe75pts
I heard he got a “raw deal” though
Ugh
And that doesn’t even count some of the dumbass picks he made |

The Miller trade was a win
The following moves in which he traded away everything we got from that deal for nothing, were not... - Tsyolin
the first rd pick went to the jets with myers, staff, armia, lemieux to get kane and bogo
the third rd pick went to the panther for kulikov
in the end, when the dust settles we got Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for Miller (pick from stewart trade) |

Exactly
As much as ppl bust on Gerbe,
he’s doing it right imo
Who the hell cares how successful u were at your desk job?
(Not “you” just whoever)
There’s a big world out there that’s a lot more fun to actually experience instead of just watching the travel channel
Have as much fun as u can,
for as long as u can
And try to see as much cool stuff along the way as possible |

See that's the thing, even if Murray held onto all of those 2nd round picks who knows what kind of bums he would have picked with him. |

Nobody is saying not to have fun. As a matter of fact, it's kind of the opposite. He gets to go out and do all these great things right now, but doesn't seem to actually really appreciate or understand how great he has it. He turns around and complains about being tired or bored or whatever.
I WISH I had been lucky enough to go through college and experience the whole thing the way he has gotten to. I've basically had to support myself since I was 16. Pay for my own school, car, clothes, etc.
I just would like to see him really understand and appreciate how amazing he has it. That's all.

I saw this same thing the other day.
Someone told me about 6 months ago this exact phrase and I try to keep it in mind every day:
Comparison is the thief of joy.
She wasn't wrong. Everyone's life is unique to them. No two journeys are ever the same. |

Fake news. He'll take a huge pay cut to stay in T.O. I'm thinking he signs 8 years of League Minimum.

The first time i went was years ago in Cali,
and I’d told them i jumped all the time here in the Buffalo area (i lied),
so they let me go alone
2nd time was here in WNY and they made me strap in with an instructor
They’re really strict about it now bc of insurance reasons - jdfitz77
This is 100% a lie. Unless you forged your USPA certification. |

Could be a good player for us once he develops. It’s under the radar moves like this that creates good depth for an organization. Well done Botts. |
