For every great player that's ever played the game, they will tell you of a veteran that took them under their wing, showed them the ropes, how to be a pro on and off the ice, etc, kept things light, kept the pressure to as close to a minimum as possible.
This team hardly exudes "leadership" when you think about it.
I don't have anyone in mind, but I'm hoping Botts does.

I think Jack is a leader. On the back end, McCabe definitely exudes leadership to me. I think Bogo is good for some of that when he's healthy. Risto is a fierce competitor in terms of physicality.
I think from a leadership perspective, Housley will guide him. He knows what it's like to be drafted at 18. Perhaps Housley could take him in to his house.
If they bring somebody in though, I hope it's not a "leadership" guy like Gorges. It should be someone who still brings game.
