Sign Tavares now and if the cap is too tight in the future trade Nylander for picks/prospects and keep adding guys on ELCs into the lineup.

Its all about asset management these days.

Assuming the top 3 go as is expected (Dahlin, Svechnikov, Zadina) then I'd take one of Bouchard, Dobson, Boqvist, or Kotkaniemi.

I don't see a real cap issue. You are right to point out the Marleau ( and also Horton ) will be off the books in two years. But next year Gardiner, Hansey ($7 Mil) this year
teh Bozek, JVR, Komagod, Polak (about $13 mil) cap going up by $6 mil this year and probably similar next year. Add that there are lots of opportunities to add entry level deals to fill roster spots from the Marlies. Where is the cap issue?
