If you must trade O'Reilly. How about O'Reilly and Larrson for 3 OA . But you need to get a 2C ( Maybe Stastny ) in Free Agency as pushing Middlestat to 2C too early is a big mistake . He needs to play sheltered minutes . Pushing him into 2C too soon could seriously harm his development. Needs to start at 3c or on Eichel's wing.

To shelter him, they don't necessarily need a 2C, they just need a strong defensive C. There's plenty of options available there.

At least we'd know he wasn't leeching off a better player. He's their best player and has been since PK left and has been their best forward for like ever.

Doesn't need to be. He's fast enough to have scored at least 30 goals 5 times. Plus he's Wolverine, he survived an assassination attempt by Chara and came back and didn't miss a beat, in fact he exploded, but that's probably the age he was when it happened. He had his appendix out and missed like 6 days. I want to say there was another injury he had they said he'd miss 2 months and he was back in like 3 weeks.

Completely Agree. Risto is our best RD and no one in our organization is even close to him in the RD pool. To me, Trading Risto is just plain stupid. Put him with Dahlin or on the Second Pair and watch him Flourish.

No, he was a lot like Vanek in that he rarely got the credit he deserved. In Vanek's case it was Kevin Lowe's dumb ass. Not really sure why in Campbell's case. Maybe because he was an offensive guy?

That's mainly because Campbell's first full season came at 23, and then it was only 65 games.

Edit: He never played a full 82 with the Sabres, but he did play 83 the year he was traded.
