I don’t know that there is one. I’m not sure there’s any other player on the Blues that would be an even swap, and I’m not sure Schwartz would be an even swap to begin with. I think it would have to be a package on both sides. I imagine goaltenders would be part of the deal.

The Blues are likely have a top three prospect pool in the league right now, but after years of trading away prospects, I’m not sure Army will let any go. I’d be okay with letting a couple go, but I think Kyrou and Kostin need to stick around; Thomas and Husso are untouchable.

Skinner's career high is 63 points. ROR had 61 this year. You're seeing basically the peak of both of these players, and in terms of value ROR adds way more secondary value to a team than a one-dimensional winger.

You're fishing and you're coming up empty. I'm not saying don't trade RoR for skinner, i'm saying Carolina needs to add if that happens, because RoR is better in almost every category compared to Skinner. As for toughness, I don't recall ever seeing Skinner drop the gloves, but I do recall seeing RoR laying some serious good checks and out battling guys.

Best face off guy in the league > doesn't take face offs

There better be a lot more than Skinner coming back in this trade.

ROR also led all forwards in average ice time with over 23 minutes no ? Skinner plays like what 17 minutes a night ? The extra 6 minutes a game factors out to an additional 8.2 games a year that ROR plays over Skinner. Skinner would of had another 6-7 points if he played the same amount of minutes that ROR did so really the trade off is 3 points instead of 10. Skinner also is a much faster player and would play on Eichel’s wing which would garner more points then playing with Staal or Rask would.

Not to mention the offensive dynamo that is Jeff Skinner scored 12 fewer points than ROR

95% of ROR and Risto's goals have come with a 9 vs 1 advantage I'm told. They shouldn't even count in a beer league setting.

People on this blog say ROR stinks and his attitude is bad and he's overpaid but yet they throw out all these ridiculous trade offers for the other teams best players.
