Your attitude would suck too if you were on a team of losers every year, that's the going rate for a player like him. Moving him and putting Casey as 2nd line Center is a bad idea, kid isn't ready yet. However, there is more to the story.................

Also, you're probably right, but I wouldn't be a Richard to my team mates and think I deserve to be the leader just because I want to be. There's way to channel that frustration in a positive manner. He doesn't seem to do that.

He's an old 27, which is basically 32

Skinner is a young 26, which is basically a prime 23

I feel like I've been in the minority on here that continuously pines for a defensive minded center to come in here to protect CM. It needs to happen if (when) he is traded. CM will not be able to handle full-time 2C duties, along with dzone play, pk and faceoffs.

What about Skinner becoming an UFA next year? You get 1 year for 5 years? That is the epitome of stupid if you don't re-sign him.

He'd be a great rental peice if an extension can't be agreed on or you don't want to keep him for whatever reason

What an awful trade for the Habs. Makes me think we can get 3OA for ROR.

I think this is the overwhelming majority, not the minority.

I love the fact that we all came to this site because some random anonymous dude was spewing off bogus rumors and now we all jump down each others throat for doing the same thing. I also love the fact that we have guys like 89 who bring what seems to be legit info to the table we have guys jumping down his throat. Whether it is BS or not, it is fun to talk about and are always good conversation starters. Lighten up, People.

Sorry, but it's very bad analysis to base or judge players off of basic counting stats. It's been proven over and over.

Like Pegulaville stated, O'Reilly's ice time adds up to multiple, additional games he's playing more than Skinner is.

With ROR being such a large asset, I don't think he's traded even with the chance of a rental coming back. Skinner is on a NMC, so he'd have to agree (and in turn be willing to sign) to come to Buffalo. My guess would be that he signs an extension right after July 1.

I don't think anyone is jumping down anyone's throat, it's been a pretty civil discussion. But, I think boredom is getting the better of everyone.

My guess is that the NHL inner circle knows the specifics of Galchenyuk's off ice problems, and this reduced his value and probably turned off potential suitors. Good on Arizona for pulling the trigger here. Bergevin's asset management is laughable at best.
