You could just as easily take the opposite opinion. He also spoke of "middle-age hockey players" on this team that they're going to build around.

facts are
1. it was his girlfriend that did it, so they say she did it not hoffman
2. he is good for 25 goals a year
3. he plays left wing, and our most proven left wing scorer is scott freaking wilson
4. locker room is already a mess

UPDATE: JOHN WAWROW OF THE ASSOCIATED PRESS REPORTS THE 2019 FIRST ROUND PICK IS LOTTERY PROTECTED. THE SABRES WILL AUTOMATICALLY GET A 2020 FIRST ROUND PICK IF THE SHARKS MISS THE PLAYOFFS NEXT SEASON.
