Yeah right. The return is an NHL player. Botts' competency is only to acquire career AHLers. Low risk no reward type moves.

I agree. If something goes wrong this year for them (missing the playoffs), I think the whole thing falls apart the year after. They have the second worse prospect pool and have like 1-2 pick in the next few years (in top 3 rounds).

Man a top 10 2020 pick would be pretty awesome when we are on the up swing!

It would be a mistake for JT to go there IMO.

That team is going to crumble in 2-3 years when burns and Vlasic are over the hill making a combined $15MM per season.

Why wasn't this 3-way trade announced all at once?
