Ideally, someone will know of a site that covers the 2nd thru 7th round picks properly, and tell me about it. |

Simmonds is the guy I’d want to move for ROR.
My offer would be Simmonds, and the 19th and 50th picks, for ROR and pick #32. No money would be retained. With Simmonds gone, Lehtera and Raffl off the books in 2019 and AMac, Weise and Gudas gone after 2020, I’m not worried about the cap hit. Especially if most of these roster spots and one of the goalie spots will be filled with kids on ELCs - BiggE
Yes!! These are my thoughts exactly. With the cap going up and all of the youth coming onto the big team I'd be okay with his cap hit. I wonder how big of a chunk provy will take up when it's time for him to get paid.
(I know it won't happen) but how (frank)ing nice would it be if provy took a Roman josi type deal. |

How many consistent 60 point 2 way centers are paid 5 million? - rinaldo
Give me an example of a consistent 2 way center, one that consistently scores 60 points year AFTER year and is not a major minus player. |

To be clear and upfront, this is really more a general response to all of talk over a period of time about trading or not trading Simmonds. Most of it was due to risk of re-signing an older player to a long term deal somewhere in the neighborhood of 6M. Why isn't the same risk there with O'Reilly and how he ages? Now people are okay with the cap hit? No risk there?
For the record I think O'Reilly is a much better player overall than Simmonds is, albeit at a different position and the Flyers do have a need for a center.
Now I think we'd have to gauge the impact of the difference between 19 and 32. I can't do that and I don't think anyone on here can either.
In part that is giving up part of the future for improving the team now. Don't know if Hextall would be willing to make a move with that.

so you have no answer for my question is that correct?
a minus player on the worst team in the league is very alarming. poop wouldn't want anyone form that squad |

I don't think I'll watch the Saturday coverage on NHLN because it's been terrible the past few years. They don't even talk about the picks as they are made, they just focus on whatever storylines they're running into the ground. - Feanor
All you need is the bar at the bottom where picks are updated in real time and everything that goes on in the rest of the screen is useless. Just stream it online and modify your browser bar to show only that part. Use the rest of your screen for something useful. You could even make some deposits in the coffin. |

just make sure that Mononoke character doesn't spend too much time in there. he's been pushing his coffin limits for a few weeks now. Nucker knows where i keep the acetone as far as the cleaning goes.

What kind of player Lindblom is going to be isn't anywhere near the point of being determined. - MJL
Lindblom didn't score a lot during his short time in the NHL, but I think he will catch on next season. He usually positioned himself in good spots to score, but he just didn't put the puck in the net. He showed some decent effort to play defense and I also like the fact that he's 6'1" and 196 lbs. The Flyers need a winger with size that can actually skate and hopefully score some goals.

Lindblom is only an average skater, but he’s smart and positions himself well. He should be a solid middle six wing, who depending on pp usage, will eventually get you 12-20 goals and 30-50 points. I’d also like to see him get some PK time this season. |
