Seems like a lot of Smoke around Montreal and ROR.
Since neither fan base can agree on a trade that works, I say this should be fun.

Molson's plan is to make as much money as possible with the Canadiens brand.
Bergevin's plan is to (frank) as much cougars as he can. |

The number of times MB has said nobody trades you a #1C. Getting a #1C from free agency is also never heard of. You only get a #1C from the draft. If they skip out on this opportunity it would just further prove MB is the biggest bag of hot air north of Trump. - nords21

Does Bergevin know how to rebuild?
It seems like a stupid question, but can he?
Trade any talent you can and take cap dumps back to maximize return (And get to the cap floor)
Do they think they owe it to Price to put the best team in front of him? |

unless Tavares gets a severe concussion and decides to sign with MTL, there is no quick turn around for this team, they simply don't have the assets to put a very competitive team on the ice or via trades. |

Thing is...Bergevin probably won't be GM of this team when Kotkaniemi becomes an impact player on this team |

He got some picks for Dale weise and Fleishman + Danault, picks for Eller and Plekanec. I would rather have another GM in charge, but I think he can get some assets here and there.
But the problem is bigger than Bergevin. The whole org is run like a mickey mouse factory (or whatever). |

I hope so, but I don't buy the 3rd overall for ROR stuff. Bergevin would have to be some kind of stupid.
I think its a Bigger deal that involves
ROR+
for
Paciaoretty++

Not sure Buffalo would want Pacioretty, I think they would wanna offload O'Reilly for young assets and picks |

Seriously, the 3rd overall for O'Reilly would be so dumb. The Sabres and Canadiens are in the same division, and you already have Dahlin. |
