Molson's plan is to make as much money as possible with the Canadiens brand.

Bergevin's plan is to (frank) as much cougars as he can.

The number of times MB has said nobody trades you a #1C. Getting a #1C from free agency is also never heard of. You only get a #1C from the draft. If they skip out on this opportunity it would just further prove MB is the biggest bag of hot air north of Trump.

unless Tavares gets a severe concussion and decides to sign with MTL, there is no quick turn around for this team, they simply don't have the assets to put a very competitive team on the ice or via trades.

He got some picks for Dale weise and Fleishman + Danault, picks for Eller and Plekanec. I would rather have another GM in charge, but I think he can get some assets here and there.
