It's hard to believe they get 3 but if they do somehow has to be a bigger deal than one for one. - GilPerreault11
I haven’t been predicting it would happen
Just hoping that Bergevin would get desperate
The dumb Galchenyuk for Domi trade makes it seem like he is,
so I’ve got some hope he’s gonna cave
If Buffalo is asking for 3 and Montreal is offering Patches it doesn't seem like a very effective negotiation - mattmoulson
Can’t blame MTL for trying
Patch is a heck of a player
Just not the best fit for us right now
If a Cup contender can afford his Cap hit,
he could be a nice piece to help them win NOW

Their window with Price/Weber/Patches is closing fast. They have no 1C. They traded their best young asset. JT is very likely not going to end up there. There are no other 1C's available right now. The Habs fans are getting very impatient with this "spinnin the tires" crap as well as the bad trades; so Bergy needs to put W's on the board.
Listening to Paul Hamilton on the Howard Simon show to day
Hour 3, about 15min in
He discussed in more detail about “Risto being uncoachable”
Really sounded to me that Risto was just being cautious in not jumping into the play as much as the coaches wanted
This is probably the first time he’s been coached that way
And besides breaking his habits per se,
he was probably tentative to make mistakes doing so & creating situations that would leave Lehner hung out to dry
So maybe it’s not that he’s “uncoachable”
Just that he needs more time in this system to get comfortable & better figure out when to move up in the play like the coaches want

I've listened to hamilton a lot, though not today. I usually find him very balanced in his comments. He just scorches him every time. I find it really hard to give risto the benefit of the doubt.
Rumor is Pacioretty and 3 for ROR and Reinhart. It wasn't from lebrun or Bobby Mac but it's floating around out there tonight. - mhp
I saw Pacioretty and 3 alone for ROR. All I know is twitter is hot right now about Buffalo and Habs talks. Regardless of ROR deal the Sabres appear to be gunning for Patches.

Agreed with this 100%. It sounds like 3 is in play.
