7.5 against the cap - Shadman306
Yep but a cheap franchise who wants to save actual $$$ likes ROR a lot more after 6/30

If they go that route, it better be for players and prospects. Plz no 2019 draft picks. I would be so bored |

You love to argue with simplistic storytelling vs stats. Losses aren't automatic clears. Wins aren't always clear possession. You can try to make it black and white, but I reject the premise.
If you really want to make it Jack vs RoR, then Jack's exceptional zone entries trump RoR's exceptional faceoffs by a wide margin. - Lunaion
Ok, I’ll make it even more simple
Do u want to win a faceoff on the PP?
Yes or no?
I’m gonna day it’s obviously YES
So then who would u rather have take the faceoff?
The guy who wins 60% or the guy who wins 40%
That answer also seems obvious
However...
if faceoffs don’t matter, then who cares who takes the faceoff... right?
Every coach in the history of hockey thinks they’re important
That’s why they put their best guy out there in important situations
U can try to spin it however u want,
But it’s the truth |
|
|
|
yes, I was frustrated with the Mitts pick last year ... from a position perspective since they were obviously so devoid of D talent...a gapping hole.
Similar to the LW gappign hole this year. - IonSabres
Its hockey, you always take BPA. |

I don't know why you like going down that path so often. Faceoff wins are good. No one has ever argued otherwise. The debate is about their significance over a large sample size.

Botterill is clearly that guy. People were screaming for D in the draft last year, but he didn't panic in the second, he took the guys he thought were best. Who knows if he's right, but that levelheadedness is reassuring.
The Grigorenko panic pick is the opposite of that |

Well.............. the Ducks called and asked if there was any interest in Perry, they like ROR, can't see that happening. If they move ROR, there's some talk with Joe Thornton. |

Heads up though...
if we take Tkachuk over Zadina, it’s gonna be like Allen over Rosen all over again
I’m gonna lose my damn mind |

Is this Pierre McGuire?
This is a perfect scenario...get a bidding war going. I honestly haven't liked a lot of what the speculated returns are (Patches, Simmonds + 19), so hopefully this cranks it up a big! |

BUF is not expected to give goaltender Robin Lehner his qualifying offer and he should be added to the list of UFA goalies available this summer as Sabres are likely to look elsewhere for a partner for Linus Ullmark. |

To get a top 3 pick I wonder what overpay will be. Personally, I think it's Reinhart but that is just a guess. |

|
I'd be happy if Beau was claimed unfortunately. I was happy with the trade for a 3rd initially as well. Swing and a miss. - RhinoFan
I think he would be a good help to the D in Rochester. Help get the picks to our forwards in a minor league |
|
|
|
With Edmonton willing to trade their #10 for a RHD we should call them, tell them to keep it, and they can have Bogo for free |

A lot of reports are saying that Zadina is falling on current draft boards by NHL scouts mainly because of the need for centers. |
