Botterill is very tight lipped. My guess is they've had conversations already about what he is looking for, if it's outrageous he will be dealt, if not they'll qualify him and negotiate during the summer.

They have until July 1st before they have to "worry" about an offer sheet.

I still don't get why people worry about this. Risto, Lindholm, Rakell, Kucherov all went right up to the season, or into the season, before they signed contracts in recent years. No one is going to throw an offer sheet.
