If Lehner is signed and plays as well as Mason has played for us I’d be ecstatic. Mason got a raw deal from both the team and a good number of fans. No sarcasm. - StepfordSam

I can safely say I have barely watched him. I would go O'Brien myself, but agree with the TBL pick - YuenglingJagr
Haven’t really watched O’Brien play, but the reports I’ve read from people who have actually seen him play are pretty decent. |

I'm not a scout...so sometimes I just get excited by what he does without the projection of what he would do against better competition. I liked how he looked for USDP though |

I really don't like reaching for him at 14 in this draft. Maybe he turns out to be the next Brent Burns... but probably not.

World of talent, but plays out of control, not the best team guy, and not so great at SO's. |

I like Miller, but not at 14. I can live with him at 19 if they’re set on taking a dman. |

I would really like a 3rd. If we trade down from one of our 1sts, maybe we can get a late 2nd and 3rd. Ducks, Leafs, there are a lot of teams. Maybe trade a 5th back.

I compared him to our own Phil Myers before, but without that balls to the wall aggressive mentality. Maybe he can develop it more. I like Miller, but I think his upside is more 2-way top 4 than dynamic top pair guy. He’s not especially creative in the cycle or anything. His best offense is rush based. He’s often more a passenger at the point. Sometimes makes a sneaky move at the point, but it’s not a major part of his game either. He’s rather simple. He’s good, does a lot projectably well in the possession game, but the idea he’s an explosive offensive talent isn’t something I can endorse. Heck, the Flyers have a couple similarly sized ones already and they don’t even know how to tap into that skill set anyway. |

I need you to look past the numbers lol. Those aren’t where guys will go. NHL teams typically only rank 90 players on their board. I think Stastney is a superbly underrated whip smart defenseman who will be a valuable NHL play-driver. He’s so underappreciated, though his u18s helped him some. But I’ve been talking him up for ages.
He likely goes mid-rounds. And yes, I’d take him there. Not at 50. If he goes closer to there, hey, can’t disagree on talent. He played plenty of RD too fwiw. I wish we had a 3rd rounder! |

I can move the puck. I can't guarantee it goes where I intend or how quickly it gets there, but it sure does change from position A to position B.
Couple that with my ability to tie my own skates and get punched in the face, and I'm basically a right-handed version of Brandon Manning. |

I’ve never heard of this phrase before. Can you provide more detail? Does he move it with his feet? Does he blow on it? Does he throw opponents at it? Does he move it into his own net like many of our esteemed Flyers defensemen? I need to know. |

Pretty much.
I'm not sure what's so 'safe' about him. He looks like a wildcard from every angle. |

Well you have to classify him as offensive or defensive first. Offensive puck mover means he scores points BUT is not good at defense. Defensive means how far the puck bounces off of him when he does good defensey things like block shots and clears it to the redline
For video on what it looks like just google "Reel 2 Real - Move It" |
