I think going into this season with Hakstol, Giroux and Voracek will be more of the same heading into next season. I would entertain moving Voracek. - SuperSchennBros
I was just about to say my outrageous draft day trade prediction for tonight will be Voracek. |

I would be open to it depending on the return. Mid-level 1st rounder...pass. |

That would be something. Voracek and 19 for 3 and something else from Montreal. Hextall would have to be wowed by the offer. |

My final hope is Farabee/Breggen as bast case scenario. No D men at 14 unless it's Miller. - hereticpride
I don’t think I want two wingers. I might like to have a D at 19 or trade down for one |

That kind of trade would have to get more complicated. |

Roughly 19-20M (not sure) in cap space with no one of significance to re-sign and money coming off the books next year.
Probably have to take Old Max. |

I like this trade idea I saw this morning: Neuvirth + 5th for Anderson
Anderson had a poor season, but I think it's worth betting that was due to the Sens being a cluster(frank). And since Ottawa are shedding salary and he is due to be paid $9.5m over the next two years, I think Hextall could get Anderson for a relatively small cost. |

“Unless it’s Noel Gallagher.” Would you scrap the deal if Liam was included? Would seem like nothing but trouble with those two. |

They love trading for wingers and forcing them to play center, so maybe. |

If we fall short we could sign Manning for 6-7M. |

I’m hoping for someone like Farabee or a Kupari at 14 (would like Kotkaniemi, but sounds like he won’t be there) and a defenseman at 19, possibly Sandin.
I’d be okay taking a skilled forward that Bill has been talking about such as Kaut, Berggren or Kravtsov. Hextall has shown a willingness to draft fast risers so there may be something to the suggestion of taking Berggren. |

I have thought about it this season. The 35+ contract scares me a bit. I would even pay 50% of neuvirths salary. It is tough to tell what the cap picture will be like next offseason without knowing who is on the third line, but I do think they can shed enough to fit his salary in next year. |

Flyers need to stock up on elite talent, Leaf Nation told me the Flyers are a decade away from where the Leafs are now.
We need to draft a lot! - Glak18
Th Leafs do have a great young core....But so do the Flyers....I would take Provy over any of their young D and probably Ghost as well.....Mathews is fantastic as are Marner and Nylander. But the Flyers have Konecny and Patrick who are really just getting started, so in all honesty the difference is negligible. I also think the the Flyers currently have a deeper prospect pool with the likes of Sanheim and Myers along with Morin....The leafs prospect pool is very thin on D.
