Garage band is like, hobby software. You can do some pretty powerful stuff with it, but there isn't a legitimate studio that's going to be using garage band as their software.
I've drummed on a couple of things where the engineer used melodyne / autotune whatever you want to call it to do very subtle pitch corrections. There are plenty of musicians at the biggest and smallest levels that do or do not use any pitch correction stuff on vocals, but I can say that you'd never know by listening either way when its used properly. (In a situation where you don't actually want an obvious autotune effect, I mean) - pinkfloydfreak
Yeah, I hear ya. I’m old school. Hell, the first time I was ever in a recording studio they were still recording on tape.

I would have no idea who to compare my songwriting to, I have so many influences. The guy producing the disc says my voice reminds him of Petty. - BiggE
