If Smith is on the board at 14, you run to the podium and take him. He is a short, but solidly built all situations Dman that could turn out to be a player very similar to Kimmo Timonen if he reaches his potential. Worst case, he’s a solid 2nd pair guy that plays on the 2nd pp unit and kills penalties

I had those kinds of feelings when the Flyers traded Tocchet then I heard Recchi was coming back. I remember the day it happened like yesterday, I ran across the street from a friends house and pretty sure I cleared a moving car in excitement.

agree...It will not be a good day if Simmonds is shipped out....they are already soft. I too was disappointed when Richards was dealt....Had just bought my kid a Richards jersey....
