Not going to lie, I will cry in my beer if Wayne Simmonds is traded. I understand the reasons behind it if this happens, but man, it will be tough to take. Heβs a perfect Flyer and my favorite player.
I walked around like a zombie for a few hours when Mike Richards was traded. - Marc D
So did Mike Richards.πππ |

I was being sarcastic, other than Matthews, the Flyers depth of prospects easily matches or best the Leafs from all major positions. - Glak18
I don't think so. Mitch Marner I think is the real deal. |

I am feeling Carter/Richards all over tonight.
Simmonds in one deal. Voracek in another.
Flyers get youngish NHL vets in the deals plus picks. Time frame for the team aligns perfectly for when Hart is ready to be the franchise goalie. - J35Bacher
Wouldn't Carters/Richards be Konecny/Patrrick? |

I was just about to say my outrageous draft day trade prediction for tonight will be Voracek. - J35Bacher
I've been behind the idea of trading Jake since the moment the season ended. The only teams who stick with big names, high priced players like G and Jake either win or feel like they're knocking on the door of winning. Toews and Kane. Crosby and Malkin. I don't feel like we're any closer with Jake. Giroux is a different story and I feel like Hextall is really backing Hakstol. Jake to me is the perfect fish bait. |

I want Farabee at 14 only because I know he wont be there at 19. I want K'Andre Miller, but would be okay with him at 14 if a) Farabee is gone or b) they don't think they can get him at 19 |

Thanks! It's actually not too bad since I'm living in Astoria. Not a huge place by any means but certainly livable. Manhattan is a different story tho haha |

So, after the Flyers select Farabee at 14th overall, will they trade him for #20 overall and LA's 2026 1st rounder while he's being interviewed? |

So, after the Flyers select Samuelsson at 14th overall, will they trade him for #20 overall and LA's 2026 1st rounder while he's being interviewed? - jmatchett383
Maybe a bit more appropriate.

Do you know if that has ever happened in the NHL before? It must have, but not as much as the NBA. |

There's a shack behind the White Castle in Elizabeth NJ that's been unoccupied since 2004... $900 a month, no utilities so they're free during normal White Castle hours. |

I don't think it has. In the NHL, they usually trade the pick before the selection has been made. |
