Can't be mad we lost out on Veleno, I think we all knew he was going in the 1st no matter what. I'm really liking the options we have for tomorrow. |

My offer of patches and Montreal’s top two 2nd rd picks for O’Reilly shouldn’t be laughed at anymore.
I think patches and two of the top ranked guys we would get with their picks would be a haul. |

The Sabres won the first round simply by getting Dahlin, but man.....Detroit isn't that far behind with the way things fell for them. |

If we kept patches, getting him with Wilde or Noel would be a haul.
If we traded patches prob would fetch a 1st and a good prospect at deadline so
A 1st, two 2nds (high ones) and a good prospect. Although it’s not for established players the value I would consider a haul. More then we traded to get him. |

So 5 players listed in the top 30 who were slated to go in the first fall out to the second where we pick first. Do we go Defense or Offense? Who is the best of who is left? Hopefully we can get a steal with who we pick at 32. What do you guys think? - Sabrehagan
Knowing what we do about JB, it'll just be the top guy on their list. Probably Noel, maybe Wilde. |

Agreed on both. Lou Lams is the man.
How isn't ROR worth more to the Yotes than whoever Barrett Hayton is? Could've had Zadina or Wahlstrom. |

draft Wilde.... boom! - gordong
Wild does fill a need being a Right Shot D which may give him a sleight edge over the others. Also, when you got guys like Noel and Thomas who would also be good choices do you pass on them because they are both Right Shot players and we need Left Shot Forwards? |

I think Pacioretty is a better player than RoR
usually whoever gets the best player wins the trade
unless tim murray makes the trade |

I admire what Chayka's done, despite being screwed over by the lottery a few times now. RoR just doesn't fit what he's doing....would have been nice to get up there though.

Botterill mentioned Bogosian as one of the players to help support Dahlin in his first year....
"Here Rasmus - This is how you get hurt and still make millions of dollars. Or if you play don't keep an on eye on your guy in the zone. You really don't need to worry about that! " |
