Apparently an overager and plays full time for a KHL squad. So I guess there is the potential for him to be able to play this year or spend one in the AHL then step up.

It's bad GMs. Brodeur was an bumhole too but who (frank)ing cares because he was the best goalie ever. Guys having bad personalities doesn't matter unless it affects their on-ice ability, eg. Ribiero. Too often the "locker room culture" is talked about and it's been reaffirmed by the Hoffman/Karlsson debacle but in actuality it's focused on way too much as a reason for performance or lack thereof.
